TMS Therapy

Especially effective in fibromyalgia and related conditions, TMS therapy is a non-invasive treatment for depression that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain.

It is typically considered when other treatments, such as medication and psychotherapy, have not been effective.

How Does TMS Work?

Magnetic Coil

“During an rTMS session, an electromagnetic coil is placed against the scalp of your head.

This coil delivers magnetic pulses that stimulate nerve cells in the region of your brain involved in mood control and depression.”

FDA Approved

TMS is useful for depression, chronic pain and is being researched for PTSD and Parkinson’s Disease.
