Minuteman

Dr. Burke utilizes the Minuteman interspinous fusion device to support patients with degenerative instability.

Degenerative Instability

Over time, the structures of the spine – joints, ligaments, discs – wear down. This means they lose their ability to keep your spine aligned.

This can cause abnormal movement, nerve issues, pain, and weakness.

The Minuteman

Used in patients with:

-Lumbar spinal stenosis
-Degenerative Disc Disease
-Spondylolisthesis

Spondylolisthesis

Often characterized by lower back pain that is worse with activity such as standing and walking, but improves with rest or bending forward.

Sometimes a “slipping sensation” or difficulty standing up is felt.
