Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Evidence shows TMS is especially effective in fibromyalgia, chronic migraine and cervicogenic headache, and neuropathic pain patients.

TMS therapy is a non-invasive treatment for chronic pain that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain.

It is typically considered when other treatments, such as medication, injections, and physical therapy, have not been effective.

How Does TMS Work?

Magnetic Coil

During a TMS session an electromagnetic coil is lightly placed against the skull.  Gentle magnetic pulses stimulate nerve cells in the brain which, over time, “reset” the pain signal.

Non-Invasive

No surgery or implants are required for TMS treatment.
